Learning togetheris a free, new online guide for parents, teachers, special educational needs (SEN) coordinators and early years professionals.

It’s been developed by Scope to support inclusion of disabled children and children with SEN in mainstream schools and early years settings.

It contains information on teaching disabled and SEN pupils at early years foundation stage, P levels 1 to 8, and key stages 1 to 4, across for all national curriculum subjects. It covers the possible impact on a child’s learning with conditions such as autism, physical impairments, visual impairments, dyslexia, hearing and communication difficulties.

I am writing to let you know about the new 'Young Adult Network' which is currently being set up by Living Options Devon. The network is aimed at disabled people who are under 25 years and the organisations who work with them. It aims to offer opportunities to share information, peer support and campaigning and the chance to be involved in local and national consultations about issues affecting disabled people. You can download a copy of the flyer with further information and hope that you would like to get involved.

Best Wishes

 A Message from our Founder

 Mandy Bayliffe

Mandy Bayliffe

"I have come to realise the courage and determination shown by carers and families   every hour of every day.

I would like to offer all
disabled people, their carers and families, the holiday, respite, support and advice they  deserve"

Mandy's ambition was to see this in operation
  within her lifetime.
Regrettably she died on August 28th 1994 before her dreams could be fulfilled.
