Consultation on housing needs for the
over 50’s now open!
Are you over
the age of 50 and starting to think about where you might want to live when you get
older? Even if you haven’t thought about moving Torbay Council would like to hear from

help plan for future housing provision in

decisions about where and how they live as they get older. Some will want to stay living
in the same home, others will look to move to more manageable homes, and some may also
feel that housing designated for older people best suits their needs.
“I urge anyone over the
age of 50, who live in all types of accommodation, or even if you have already moved, to
take part. This consultation will really help us shape housing and support for our older
